For Saudi contributors registered before 3 July 2024: 9.75% from the employee (9% pensions and 0.75% SANED) and 11.75% from the employer (9% pensions, 2% occupational hazards and 0.75% SANED).
For Saudis first registered from 3 July 2024: rates start as in the old system, then the pension share rises by half a point on each side every July from 2025 to 2028, reaching 11%.
The employer pays 2% for occupational hazards; nothing is deducted from the employee’s salary.
